By Steve K
I am an addiction recovery blogger and advocate. The purpose of this website is to explore addiction recovery as a practical, philosophical, and deeply human process.
It is a place to share articles, reflections, and resources related to recovery, including books, websites, podcasts, and other materials that have informed my own understanding.
My primary interest lies in the philosophy and practice of the 12 Steps, approached thoughtfully and without dogma. At the same time, this site recognises that recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and that many people find healing through a range of different pathways.
Independence
In addition to my own writing, this website occasionally republishes or links to articles by other commentators in the field of addiction recovery. These perspectives are shared because they contribute thoughtfully to the wider conversation, not because I necessarily agree with every view expressed.
All opinions expressed on this site—whether my own or those of guest authors—are offered independently and do not represent Alcoholics Anonymous or any other organisation.
I do not claim authority beyond lived experience, study, and reflection.
I do not sell or advertise anything on this website for financial profit. I am not employed to write articles or blog posts. My time, writing, and work for the website are voluntary.
